Cookie policy

StudyTools keeps its use of cookies and browser storage to what the site needs in order to work.

What we use

• Sign-in session: if you create an account, a token is stored in your browser to keep you signed in. Without it you would be signed out on every page.
• Theme: your light or dark mode choice is remembered locally.
• Tool preferences: saved grades, exam dates, flashcard decks, typing history, favourites and recently used tools are stored in local storage on your device only.

What we do not use

We do not currently set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If advertising is introduced in future, this page and the privacy policy will be updated before it goes live, and any consent required in your region will be asked for at that point.

Clearing storage

Clearing site data in your browser settings removes everything above. Your locally saved tool data cannot be recovered afterwards, so export or note anything you want to keep. Data attached to an account stays available after you sign in again.
