StudyTools is a trading name operated by Aaleyah Julius as a sole proprietor in South Africa. These terms are a contract between you and Aaleyah Julius, the seller and provider of this website (“we”, “us”, “our”). By continuing to use StudyTools you agree to the terms below. If you are using StudyTools on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to enter into this contract in your country.

Using the site
You may use StudyTools for your own studying. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, work around plan limits, scrape it at scale, or upload material you do not have the right to use.
Academic honesty
StudyTools is a study aid. Submitting AI-generated text as your own work may breach your school or university's rules, and that responsibility is yours.
AI-generated content
AI output is generated from the material you supply and can contain mistakes or omissions. It is provided for revision purposes and should be checked against your course material. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness or exam relevance.
Your material
You keep ownership of the documents and text you upload. You grant us only the permission needed to store that material and process it to produce the results you asked for. See the privacy policy.
Accounts and Premium
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for providing accurate account information. Plan limits are shown on the Premium page and may change; we will not reduce a paid plan you are currently on without notice.
Payments, billing and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Premium is a monthly subscription that renews automatically at the price shown at checkout until you cancel. Payment, billing, currency, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
Intellectual property
StudyTools, including its software, design, branding and written guides, remains our property. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service on your current plan. You may not resell it, redistribute it, reverse engineer it, or work around technical or plan limits.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated misuse of the service. You may close your account at any time.
Availability
The service is provided as-is. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or withdraw individual tools.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, StudyTools is not liable for academic outcomes, lost data or indirect losses arising from use of the site. Keep your own backups of important files.
